ProtecMBC®1500 8X Concentrated RO Antiscalant

ProtecMBC®1500 is a high-performance 8X concentrated antiscalant designed for reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF) water treatment systems. It effectively prevents inorganic scale formation on membrane surfaces, helping maintain stable system performance, improve water production and reduce operating costs.

Product Features

(1)  8X Concentrated Formula – Reduces transportation and storage costs while maintaining excellent antiscaling performance.
(2)  Excellent Scale Control – Effectively controls calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, and metal hydroxide scales.
(3)  Superior Silica Control – Inhibits silica polymerization and deposition, with concentrate-side SiO2 levels up to 290 mg/L.
Strong Metal Fouling Control – Highly effective against iron, aluminum, and heavy-metal fouling; feed-water iron can reach up to 8.0 mg/L.
(4)  Wide Application Range – Suitable for RO, NF, and UF systems, including CA and TFC membranes.
(5)  Wide pH Compatibility – Effective within a feed-water pH range of 5–10.
(6)  Low Dosage – Recommended dosage of only 0.375-1mg/L, helping reduce chemical consumption and operating costs.
